Who I am

I want to first invite you to think about this question. Do you have any memorable lesson throughout your career or academic life.  For me, it was something my professor said in my Engineering 101 class: "There’s no dumb user, only dumb product." To me, it translates into you have to know your audience before you design anything.

I earned my Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Columbia University, where I focused on heavy industrial decarbonization and precious metal recovery. During my Ph.D., alongside the usual lab work, I conducted several life cycle assessments and financial analyses on some cutting-edge technologies.

I have experience with start-up name Coffee Elf.  I helped secure funding and led waste coffee ground treatment projects. Currently, I’m working with Apple as a contracted TPM. I manage different program in a global scale. I also perform materials, carbon, and financial analyses.
